Barlow Tyrie to showcase new seasons designs

The last twelve months have seen teak furniture manufacturer Barlow Tyrie winning awards for design excellence and contemporary styling and it will be displaying items from its 2006 collection at the NEC Furniture Show in January and Hotelympia in February.

The mixed material Equinox collection, which combines Barlow Tyrie teak with a brushed stainless steel, was launched last year and alongside the Equinox 180 dining table and platinum sling armchairs will be the new Equinox High Dining set.

This features a Carver Chair and Side Chair, each with a teak seat and back, and a complementary High Stool is available.

There is a choice of two High Dining Tables in the range - 70cm and 100cm diameter - both with slatted teak tops, a stainless steel pedestal leg and teak feet.

Three coffee tables, in a choice of sizes, have also been launched into the Equinox collection for 2006, along with a teak and stainless steel side table for the award-winning Equinox Sun Lounger.

The Eclipse range builds upon Barlow Tyrie's recent experimentation with mixed materials. On show will be the 120 Eclipse Dining Table and Armchairs which feature aluminium and Textilene, combined with teak.

The Eclipse Armchair, with Textilene seat and backrest, is available in a choice of three frame and four fabric colours. The Eclipse 120 Dining Table complements the choice of Armchairs; its aluminium frame is available in three colours, each with a teak table top.

Visitors to Hotelympia will be able to see the company's Virage collection, available in a Quicksilver finish and proving popular with a range of different establishments.

Barlow Tyrie will be on Stand D31 in Hall 2 at the Furniture Show and on Stand S4619 at Hotelympia.
